Statement from Senator Karla May Regarding Domestic Terrorists Infiltrating the United States Capitol Building

7 Jan

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Karla May, D-St. Louis, today issued the following statement

regarding domestic terrorists infiltrating the United States Capitol Building:

“The situation in Washington D.C. is appalling, it is heartbreaking, and it is frightening. Without a

doubt, the rhetoric and lies put forward by President Trump and Senator Hawley have led to this

shameful moment. America needs calm, rational, truthful leaders to help heal and guide our

nation forward. I am praying for our leaders, our country and the State of Missouri.”
